July thru Mid-August: Sand, floor, family fun

July 1 One of the greatest fun things the kids did  this summer was have the hose on the trampoline.  Simple. Great. July 12 Much of July was spent doing not-so-grandiose  things on the house while waiting for floor and roof  trusses, but we also used the time for good family outings. Had to pick berries at LEAST once! I would love a friend of ours to paint  clouds like this on our LR ceiling. Someday. July 13 One of the things we did while waiting for trusses was dig sand from part of our land with Randy's  tractor, dump it inside the garage walls, and spread it by hand to raise the garage floor into more of a "split level." Littles, being resourceful. July 31 We took the opportunity to make a quick visit to WI at the end of July, and left the kids with my folks! June 2019: Concrete, "Legos", Go-cart, Bikes

June 1st arrived, and with it, some Brandt helpers! Teddy thinks Uncle Andy gives the best go-cart rides. Then Teddy gave Uncle Andy a go-cart ride.  He was done after that. June 3*  One of the first things they helped with was  unloading our ICF blocks on Monday morning. Thankfully MOST of them came in "towers" and we didn't have to unload them one brick at a time. Some stacks were hollow enough for Andy to handle. Andy getting a ride on the forks. OSHA approved. There's all the house walls!
